The Design-Tex story began in 1978 in southeast Texas, when owner and founder Tim Snyder first began taking contracts for painting, remodeling, and custom cabinetry. Much changed in the early years; the company weathered economic uncertainty and a long move to Suwanee, Georgia, eventually focusing on commercial cabinetry as its primary market. After nearly three decades of steady growth, Design-Tex Cabinetry, Inc. is one of the foremost commercial cabinetry manufacturers in the southeastern United States.

Today, experienced Design-Tex craftsmen utilize cutting-edge computer-driven woodworking equipment at our production facility to insure all products are built exactly to customer specifications and delivered on time.
The key to our success, however, isn’t merely the production of high-quality cabinetry, but our relationship with our customers. Our strong reputation in the industry is what drives our sales; therefore, maintaining relationships and supporting our customers with their products is of the utmost importance to us.
